Why does All About Quilting's logo have a Cowboy Bee? Meet Bob, the Cowboy Bee. Bob has been around for awhile, beginning with our original quilt store. But Bob's origins go deeper into Laurel's family history. Years ago my Grandmother and Step-Grandfather, Treva and Bob had a ranch in the Black Hills of South Dakota called "The Lazy B Ranch". I have lots of fond memories of my visits to the ranch during spring break when I was growing up. When I decided to open my quilt shop I thought of the cowboy bee that was the logo for my grandparents ranch. My grandmother graciously granted me permission to use him in my logo. I've always been a country girl at heart and quilting bees are at the root of this wonderful art that we all know and love. So what better way to represent my quilt shop than with this adorable "rootin, tootin, cowboy bee". He is named Bob after my step grandfather. - Laurel Kindley, Owner, All About Quilting Watch for Bob the Cowboy Bee in the shop.
